Problem: Paper-based tasks make the process of converting temporary workers to full-time employees (which West Moreton is required to do within 30 days under a state-wide enterprise bargaining agreement) tedious and time-consuming.
Solution: Barhead deployed the Staff Conversion app to automate paper-based tasks and eliminate bottlenecks in the process. The app automates the manual parts of the HR department’s workflow, such as sending individual staff conversion requests to line managers and following up with them via email.
Outcome: Using the Staff Conversion app, the West Moreton HR department was able to save 2 to 3 hours per staff conversion review and focus more on high-value tasks, such as increasing job satisfaction and improving workers’ employment experience.
