Our consultants and experts have worked with not-for-profit organisations, including the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF), to deliver decisive and transformative solutions. Barhead worked with the AIEF, which provides scholarships to Indigenous students, to develop a solution that will help ensure Indigenous students receive the support they need to successfully transition from school into their chosen fields.
Problem: To meet growing demand for scholarships and mentoring services, the AIEF needed to upgrade its system to improve fundraising, mentor communications and student case managements as well as the overall reporting process.
Solution: Barhead streamlined AIEF’s donations process by automating online donations and receipts. To streamline student support, Barhead deployed a service-based referral system for case officers looking after Indigenous students and a portal where mentors can input student interactions into the customer relationship management (CRM) software, both of which are based on Dynamics 365.
Outcome: Using custom solutions based on Dynamics 365, AIEF was able to implement a more systemic approach to maintaining close relationships with its donors and stakeholders and provide better services for Indigenous students. Using notes on student details and interactions in the CRM, student advisors were able to monitor mentoring relationships and improve outcomes for Indigenous students.
