EWOQ’s new CRM to include Microsoft Digital Contact Centre, one of the first within the Queensland government

Barhead Solutions, an award-winning Microsoft partner, has entered into partnership with the Energy & Water Ombudsman Queensland (EWOQ) to implement a state-of-the-art Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution.

‘The new CRM solution addressing EWOQ’s unique requirements will include the Microsoft Digital Contact Centre, and will be one of the first implementations within the Queensland government,’ says Tim Knox, Microsoft’s Digital Contact Centre Lead.

‘With our new CRM, EWOQ seeks to find new ways of supporting Queenslanders with independent, respectful and effective ways of resolving disputes with energy and water providers, especially amid cost of living pressures,’ says Gavin Watts, General Manager for Assessment, Investigation and Resolution at EWOQ.

Barhead CEO Ken Struthers adds, ‘We are excited by the opportunity to partner with EWOQ to surpass existing technologies by implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Service. The inclusion of significant training and support will help the EWOQ team take advantage of current and future customer-focused AI capabilities and deliver a game-changing level of service.’

The partnership between EWOQ and Barhead Solutions exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to customer relationship management, setting a new benchmark in digital transformation within the public sector in Australia.
