24 March 2023 – Amanda Stenson, Barhead Solutions’ Head of Not-for-Profit (NFP), and Amanda Fajerman, Barhead’s Engagement Manager for Legal Tech Product & IP, are finalists in this year’s ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA). The leading forum for setting the industry benchmark for female achievement across Australia, the WIICTA has eight categories, including the Innovation and Rising Star categories, which Stenson and Fajerman were nominated in respectively.
Innovation
Amanda Stenson is a finalist in the Innovation category. Stenson heads Barhead’s NFP practice, which recently launched the Barhead Fundraising Solution (BFS), a Microsoft Cloud-based solution tailored for Australian NFPs. Officially launched at the FIA Conference (the largest gathering of fundraisers in Australia), the BFS is designed to handle Australian payment services and to streamline processes related to campaign and income management, while incorporating the native communication and engagement capabilities of Microsoft.
The Innovation Award recognises creative-thinking candidates who are standouts in bringing innovation to life through a big picture and out-of-the-box approach to business, and individuals who are unrivalled at converting embryonic ideas into viable working solutions through a unique thought process designed to continually push the envelope.
Rising Star
Amanda Fajerman is a finalist in the Rising Star category. Fajerman is the Engagement Manager for Barhead’s Legal Tech Product & IP team, which developed and launched products such as the Clearspace Workforce Management app and Consensus — an end-to-end contract and matter management platform developed for legal, procurement and contracting teams.
The Rising Star award recognises a standout candidate rising through the ranks within the ICT industry, acknowledging significant advancement during the early stages of her technology career. The award also recognises individuals who are growing in stature and importance through demonstrating outstanding business acumen, deep market expertise and high levels of professional integrity.
After a rigorous process involving an executive panel of more than 170 industry judges who will select the winners from 230 finalists, the official winners will be announced at an in-person celebration lunch at ICC in Sydney.
