Barhead has been named a 5 Star Legal and Tech Service Provider by The Australasian Lawyer, a leading legal news website. This marks the 3rd consecutive year Barhead has won the distinction in the legal technology – legal case management category for its Consensus contract and matter management solution.

Award winners were selected on a wide range of criteria, including the strength of their delivery and service processes, their innovativeness, commitment to R&D, and most importantly the impact they have made on the lives of legal professionals. On these factors, Barhead and its Consensus solution once again stood out.

Consensus, an end-to-end contract and matter management built on the Microsoft platform, has consistently distinguished itself from the competition for the greater level of control users have over their data within the solution, strong data security, and close integration with Microsoft business applications and now Copilot, Microsoft’s AI assistant.

As AI assistants like Copilot increasingly become mainstream tools amongst legal teams, Barhead will continue to work closely with Microsoft to develop new features to help legal teams further streamline work processes, leverage Generative AI for knowledge management, and ultimately be more efficient.

On AI’s potential, Consensus Engagement Manager Amanda Fajerman says that Generative AI and Copilot are a game-changer for legal professionals and, more broadly, knowledge workers across all industries.

‘Generative AI is taking contract, matter and knowledge management to a whole new level. With Consensus and its new Copilot features, we aim to give organisations and their legal teams an end-to-end contract and management solution that will enable them to leverage industry-leading AI technology securely within their Microsoft environment.’
