Primary objective

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven professionals to join our highly agile, collaborative and skilled Delivery Team.

The Dynamics CRM Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading the process to understand and capture business challenges and requirements in a collaborative manner. Developing those requirements into solutions in alignment with the customers goals and ultimately assuring the quality of the solution and alignment to success.

The role will allow you to work closely with multi-disciplined teams and participate in the solution implementation from understanding the business requirements, engaging with customers, facilitating workshops, drive user stories and acceptance criteria and documentation, designing and building, to configuring Microsoft Dynamics Applications.

What you will be doing

  • Investigate, analyse and define complex business issues.
  • Leading requirements gathering efforts, facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement
  • Providing leadership to project team (onshore and offshore) around useability and quality of solution
  • Propose possible solutions, identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility and recommending any new approaches as applicable.
  • Produce as-is and to-be business processes, and data models.
  • Create high quality specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Actively participate in configuration of software packages and implementations.
  • Coordinate, as necessary, relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of business change.
  • Coordinate or take active roles within small virtual teams.
  • Document faults, implementing resolutions and retests to agreed standards.
  • Carry out research at the request of a project manager or line manager.

What you need to bring

Technical Skills:

  • Dynamics and Power Platform as a foundation (open to candidates with other CRM experience)
  • Configuration and customisation of D365 and Power Platform
  • Low code end of the, point and click configuration of the solution, versus writing code and plugins
  • Canvas app build, drag and drop, point and click
  • Solid background on CRM delivery (Dynamics 365 or Salesforce preferred)
  • Comfortable delivering under differing methodologies, including agile, timeboxed outcome based agile delivery and Hybrid delivery taking the best of both traditional and contemporary methods.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of project management principles and methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum
  • Awareness of DevOps methodologies (experience using Azure DevOps to manage scope and plan project delivery)
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end on small engagements, contribute to achievement of the project budget, scope, schedule, and resources.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong relationship building with customer counterparts and other key stakeholders
  • Exceptional requirements elicitation experience and translating these to high quality user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Influence and collaborate to achieve project and organisational outcomes
  • Creative, out of the box thinking
  • Previous experience working for a consulting firm / System integrator / Vendor
  • Proven track record of contributing to decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through.
  • Proven communication, with strong written and spoken presentation skills with a degree of comfort with senior audiences
  • Demonstrated success in contributing to complex projects with multiple stakeholder groups, dependencies, and leading team members through the various phases of the project (both onshore and offshore);

Project Experience:

  • Mid – level functional consultant 3-5 years of project experience
  • Senior 6+ years of successful delivery of CRM initiatives, cross- functional team relationship building and consistently meeting targets.
  • 6+ years of experience delivering high quality customer service and feedback, and on-time project delivery.
