The Dynamics 365 Marketing Functional Consultant will be responsible for reviewing client business processes, re-engineering the client’s processes to improve efficiency in relation to available out-of-the-box functions and performing many of the functional tasks required for a successful CRM implementation.

You will have an in-depth functional and practical knowledge of the following Dynamics 365 and Power Platform components:

  • Dynamics 365 Marketing
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Voice
  • Power Automate

The role will allow you to work closely with multi-disciplined teams and participate in the solution implementation from understanding the business requirements, engaging with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and building, to configuring Microsoft Dynamics Applications.

What you will be doing

  • Investigate, analyse and define marketing automation functionality.
  • Leading requirements gathering efforts, facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Providing leadership to project team (onshore and offshore) around useability and quality of solution.
  • Propose possible solutions, assessing feasibility and recommending any new approaches based on your prior experience with Microsoft marketing automation technology.
  • Actively participate in build and configuration of complex customer journeys, marketing emails, customer voice surveys, lead scoring models, event templates and marketing forms.

What you need to bring

Technical Skills:

  • Dynamics and Power Platform as a foundation.
  • Configuration and customisation of Dynamics 365 Marketing, Customer Voice and Power Platform.
  • Low code end of the, point and click configuration of the solution, versus writing code and plugins.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end on small engagements, contribute to over the project budget, scope, schedule, and resources.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Influence and collaborate to get outcomes
  • Creative, out of the box thinking
  • Previous experience working for a consulting firm / System integrator / Vendor (unless junior) entry level
  • Proven track record of contributing to decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through.
  • Proven communication, with strong written and spoken presentation skills with a degree of comfort with senior audiences
  • Demonstrated success in contributing to complex projects with multiple stakeholder groups and dependencies (senior); junior working under the guidance of other people
  • Eliciting requirements, developing user stories
